“Notes on Distance” brings together images made in India, Greece, and Morocco. Portraits, objects, landscapes, forms and gestures, popular, primal, or fundamental.
Each photograph is a way of approaching what appears, of sensing the space that separates and connects.
These images form an archipelago, a field of echoes where seeing also becomes a way of questioning one’s relation to the polyphonies of existence.
“Notes on Distance” réunit des images réalisées en Inde, en Grèce et au Maroc. Des portraits, des objets, des paysages, des formes et des gestes, populaires, primitifs ou fondamentaux.
Chaque photographie est une manière d’approcher ce qui se montre, d’éprouver l’espace qui sépare et relie.
Ces images forment un archipel, un champ d’échos où voir devient aussi une manière d’interroger sa relation aux polyphonies de l’existence.
